About the Author

Adôlé Dawn is a Jamaican Canadian who has been writing ever since she was a child. Her passion for writing was quite evident throughout highshool as well since she would write poetry on the back of her tests which eventually drew the attention of her teachers.

Adôlé holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University. She has edited one published work prior to writing her first book “Let’s Check Our Breath.” Her passion is to create stories that teach life lessons in a way that the reader will not only be entertained, but also enable them to apply what they read to their everyday lives. She has written many stories of which she is also in the process of having published.
